Well I havent blogged in some time, but I have good reason! I had my baby boy Gabriel Peter on 11/24 at 7:32a 9lbs 2oz 20in! He arrived via planned c-section with my wonderful Dr Glenn at the helm, I did so much better this time than I did last time. With my first one I had to do 16 hours of induced labor before they decided to do a section. It was so nice to just go in and have him without all the guessing! He is 2 weeks old today and doing very well, nursing was a bit of challange at first but he got the hang of it in about a day. We went home on Thanksgiving day a little bit before 11am. We got home and got Memaw, Poppa Terry and big Brother and headed over to my in-laws house for Thanksgiving dinner with the family. We all had a great time over there. About 6ish my mother wanted to go home and I was way tired so the 4 of us headed home and Mike and Noah stayed over there for awhile longer.
My mom stayed till 12/3 when she went home with Terry so they could get my step-brother the next day so he could come over for the weekend. They were sad to go, but hopefully we'll see them again soon. We miss them so much already. Noah got very attached to his Memaw while she was here.
Mike had to start back to work the Friday after we got home... poor guy didn't want to go back to work right away. I'm not looking forward to going back to work at all, Im going to start back on my school work here this week. I have to get done so I can finally get myself a real job and not some stinky old job that any monkey could do. Im just tired of having minium wage jobs and would like to be done with school and say I did it. I graduated and have a diploma. I do however enjoy being a stay at home mom but still would like to get something that says I did that, I went back and got my degree. It would set an example for my children that it can be done. I do which I had finished before children and marriage but wouldnt change it for anything. Well better get some dinner on the table or it will be late before we eat!

Wow what a day!
ahh.... Finally home after a long long day. It started at 5am when I woke up and couldnt go back to sleep this morning at all. So at about 7:30 I decided I might as well get up and get a shower before I had to get the muchkin up and ready for pre-school today. So I got him ready then out the door I went have been going and going all day. After dropping him off at school, I went to the grocery store, I spent way to much time there because I had to rush home and throw my cold stuff in the fridge and freezer in the bags still and run back out the door. My Dr's appt went well, I was 5 mins late however, but she was running behind today which was good for me since I was late! I've gained 33lbs so far and shouldnt gain much more since I only have 10 days left! WOO HOO I'm measuring 38 wks and Im 37.5 wks so not to far off. My guess is 8.5lbs when he comes and about 19-20 inches. He will be 12 days sooner than Noah, he was 40+5 days and was 9lbs 8oz and 21 inches.
After my appointment I went to Target and met my sis in law and 2 of her kids for lunch and shopping. Got some things I needed for the baby and for the house. Then I had about 30 minutes before I had to get Noah from pre-school, so I went down the way a bit (walking distance) to a nail place to get my eye brows down. I feel human again after getting them done! I've put it off way to long to get them done. THEN I get him from school, get the oiled changed, go get my scripts from Kroger and drop off my maternity papers. Noah decided he wanted McDonalds for dinner so I caved and got a Angus Burger! YUMM! Now it is time to relax for the rest of the evening, because I'm pooped!
It must be nice to be a cat to just lay around all day and be lazy....

Happy Veterns Day!
To all those who have served and are currently serving in our Armed Forces I thank you for your selfless service and sacrifice. To all those who have lost their lives in the pursuit of our daily freedoms, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. To my dearest husband, I love you and thank you for serving and now is a disabled vet for medical reasons. To my cousin that is over there right now fighting for our pursuit of happiness on his third tour, I thank you. To all my friends I have made that are serving as soldiers or as their spouses I salute you. To be an American Soldier is a very high honor and should be respected, if you haven't already Thank one today for your freedom. If is wasn't for them, our country wouldn't be the wonderful thing it is today. Today is a day to be truely thankful.

Ouchies today
Well the baby seems to have found my siactic nerve and likes to press on it! Lil stinker gets me on one side so I get pain down my butt and leg then a little while later he hits the other side! I'm getting ready for his arrival 2 weeks from today. We are so excited to welcome our newest family memeber. He will make #19 great-grandbaby for my Nana and Grandaddy. #2 Grandchild for both of my parents, seeing how neither one of my sisters have kiddos that aren't four footed and furry! #10 Grandchild for my in-laws. I'm one of 13 grandbabies for my grand-parents and my mom is the oldest of 5, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Let me tell you, from some of the stories I've heard from my mom and Nana about those boys! WOW I'm in for it! Throwing bricks at each other heads, climbing on the counters to get to the baby asprins 3 differenet times and having their stomaches pumped.... I could go on and on but then I would be up all night typing!
My dearest hubby got a new game last week and today. Dragon Age and the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Lets just say unless he is at work, I dont get much TV time in the livingroom! LOL But that is ok, he does work 12 hour shifts at the hosptial and its ruff for him. So he can play for now, untill the baby comes and he has to put the remotes down for a bit and help!
My shower was this past Sunday at our church. The picture is of me holding a bottle of Barefoot Merlot that Judy was so sweet to get. They were so cute! The bottles had baby foot prints on them, as well as on the corks and tin tops. I saved the tops and corks for his baby book and keepsake box (which I still need!). This was the only bottle left that was unopened so we are going to save it until I'm allowed to drink again! I got so many cute cloths and wonderful gifts from everyone that came and a few others that were unable to make it. My Nana send the baby a homemade blanket and my cousin & parents send me a giftcard to Babies R Us to go towards my Sit-N-Stand I need very much. With the other giftcards I received I have the cost of it almost covered!
After my appointment on Friday, I plan to go and spend my giftcards at Target and Babies R Us while muchkin is in pre-school and hubby is at work. I only have 2 more Dr's appointments till it will be time for my planned c-section on the 24th at 7:30am! Im not a morning person and haveing to be there at 6am isn't the most appealing time for me! The lil man will stay with Memaw and Pappa Terry till later that morning and visit since I won't be out of recovery for awhile. Plus he is like his momma NOT a morning person and does not like to be woke up. The rest of the family that is in town will more than likely all make apperances some time that day. The Dr said that as long as there is no complications we can go home on Thursday which will be Thanksgiving. My mother in law is having a big family dinner that day, but we will not be attending this year for obivous reasons. I told them all if they want to come over a few at a time and visit that evening that they are more than welcome to. My mother will be here and she is going to help cook a small meal for just her, her hubby, and the 4 of us. Maybe just a Turkey breast, some stuffing, some veggies, and of course, Cherry Pie for me!!! Wouldn't be Thanksgiving without my Cherry Pie, I hate Pumpkin pie!
Well Im getting tired and must put myself to bed. Going into the home streatch now of counting down the days till baby Gabriel comes and makes our family from 3 to 4!

My first
This is my very first blog! I'm very excited to get started, I've been wanting to start one for some time now.
A little background on me for those who don't know me very well. I'm a 28 yr old mom of 1, and expecting my second son on the 24th of November with a planned c-section. I meet my husband in 2001 at TAMUG in Chemistry Class (I know its pretty funny!). We actually meet through his roommate that I was shorta dating. It obviously didn't work out with the roommate! I moved back home to Dallas from Galveston the summer after my freshman year. My boyfriend at the time was my current husband. We broke up not to long after I moved back home for reasons that were beyond silly now. We both dated others for the next 2 years, one day I got an email from him with his cell number in the message. So I called it and we meet for dinner in the near future. We both realized we missed each other and that the others we were dating just weren't up to par with each other. I was however about to move to Las Vegas near my father. I did move and we lost touch for awhile. We did get back together and got married! I then 10 days after our I do's went to work for Walt Disney World for 8 months! So for the first 8 months of our marriage we were separated, he was in Texas and I was in Florida.
After my internship was over in Orlando, he came down to get me and we drove to Missouri to live with his parents for awhile. After a few months we decided to move back to Texas, moved into his brothers old house and started working on going back to school and working. It was very hard for us for awhile there. On October 14, 2005 at 10:45pm we welcomed our son Noah into the world. 9lbs 8oz and 21in long via c-section He just had his 4th birthday and can not wait for Halloween tonight! He is going to be Batman the Brave and the Bold.
In November 2006 my husband enlisted in the US Army as a 68WM6 (combat medic/LVN) and left to go to Boot Camp at Ft Benning GA. He came home for Christmas and then had to go back to graduate in February 2007. I was a very proud wife that day when we saw him in his uniform, unfortunately it wasn't a very long visit because he had to leave for AIT at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. It was several weeks before we were able to drive the 4 hours there to visit him on post because they had to earn their privileges to use cell phones, computers, visitors, etc. When he was about 4-6 weeks from finishing his Combat Medic part of his training my son, cat, dog, and myself moved into an apartment about 15 minutes from post. We were able to visit with him on a nightly basis for 2-4 hours before he had to report back to his barracks for the night.
When I would be waiting on him I would see other wives that had moved near their husbands waiting for them to be released to us for the few hours we would have them. Two of the ladies I saw in the parking lot I meet and we all became fast friends. They both had 2 children each, and we would meet almost everyday. I have made life long friends in these women and miss them on a daily basis. One lives in Ohama, and the other lives in Ohio. Their husbands were just combat medics and when they were done with their training, moved home. Mine however, like several others in his class, were moving on to their LVN courses. Phase I was at Ft Sam, Phase II was to be determined later. We and a few others landed at Ft Bliss in El Paso, TX. I also meet another wife during this time, and we PCS'ed together to the desert. We were stationed there for a year, where I learned I had PCOS and we had a long road in order to concieve again.
When Mike gradutated with Honors from his LVN course in June 2008. We then got stationed at Ft Riley KS. I made several friends there and started working for a grocery store in town while I was going to school online. In March 2009 I learned I was expecting again! We were overjoyed. While we were at Ft Riley, my husband was dignosed with high BP, high heart-rate, and extreme migranes. This was all presant at Bliss but nothing was done about it till we moved to Riley. He would suffer from 6-15 mirganes a month. As a sufferer myself I would just feel awful for him. They started a med-board for him and was released with a medical discharge in July 2009. We moved home to Arlington, TX and stayed with his parents for the time it took us to find jobs and a house to buy.
I am now 25 days from my due date with our second son, Gabriel Peter. I'm very excited to meet our newest addition to make our family of three to four.
